Meinhardt provided comprehensive Civil, Structural, and MEP Engineering services, ensuring the embassy’s design achieves exceptional sustainability and climate resilience. The building incorporates carbon-neutral principles through the use of sustainable materials, energy-efficient lighting, and rainwater harvesting systems.
Elevated on a protective plinth to prevent flooding, its dense walls and rain-screen façade of charcoal-hued local stone provide natural insulation and shading, minimizing energy demand in Jakarta’s tropical climate.
